A couple months ago, I made several batches of soap that would be fully cured in time for a holiday sale. The fruits of my labor are listed below. I have limited quantities, but if you are interested in purchasing any of them, please send me a message and I will give you the details.
The soaps are all palm free. I try to use mostly organic ingredients and I only color and scent with essential oils, herbs, clay, and charcoal. Most of the soaps are vegan, with the exceptions being the Honey Silk Soap, which has honey and silk, and the Citrus Silk Bar, which has silk in it.
The soaps all finished curing last week, but if you let them sit for another month or two, they will just continue to get harder and better.
Note: because these are all cold process soaps, sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is needed for the saponification process (which turns the oils into soap), so it is listed in the ingredients, but there should be none left in the final product.
Charcoal Swirl Face Bar
This is my second batch of this soap and it was the most popular among my friends of the soaps I have given away so far. I changed the base formula slightly to make it a little creamier, but other than that, it’s the same. It’s scented with tea tree essential oil and a little bit of lavender essential oil to cut the medicinal scent. It ends up being very gender neutral and fresh smelling. The charcoal and the tea tree oil also help to keep your skin clear.
The swirl technique is a faux funnel pour using squeeze bottles. Each bar ends up being truly unique.

Charcoal Swirl Bar
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Tea Tree, Lavender], Activated Charcoal
Herb Garden Soap
This is another one that I have made before. I scented the original soap with clary sage, lemongrass, and marjoram essential oils. Unfortunately, clary sage and marjoram essential oils are quite expensive and with the amount you need to use in the soaps, I would have to charge a fortune just to break even. So I changed up the scents and used lavender, lemongrass, and rosemary, which also smell quite nice together. However, I used less then I should have, so the scent of this soap is very subtle, which might end up working better for some people.
This soap has calendula infused olive oil, which is one of my favorites for the skin. It also has ground nettle and yarrow, which among being great herbs, also act as an exfoliant.

Herb Garden Soap
Contains: Calendula Infused Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Lavender, Lemongrass, Rosemary], Jojoba Oil, Yarrow, Nettle
Mixed Clay Shampoo Bar
I have been using shampoo bars for about six months now, and I don’t think I will ever go back. This is my fourth attempt, and my favorite so far. It has hair and scalp friendly oils, and essential oil blend that is good for your scalp and hair and two types of clay, which help clean and remove oil from your hair. The rosemary and basil essential oils give it a very herby scent.
If you have never used a shampoo bar before, I find it works best if I lather it in my hair under the running water. I then rinse it till the water is clear and finish up with an apple cider vinegar rinse. If you have not used an ACV rinse before, here is some information on how and why you should.

Mixed Clay Shampoo Bar
Contains: Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Hemp Oil, Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Ylang Ylang, Rosemary, Basil], Evening Primrose Oil, Rhassoul Clay, Bentonite
Ocean Breeze Bar
I love this bar. It’s pretty and smells good! The essential oil combo combined with the smell of the kelp, really give it a fresh scent like you were just at the beach. The kelp and clay is great for your skin and the sea salt make for a nice hard bar.

Ocean Breeze Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Lavender, Litsea Cubeba, Cedarwood], Sea Salt, Sea Clay, Kelp
Unscented Oatmeal Bar
If you have sensitive skin and don’t like soaps with scents, this is the bar for you. It can even be used on baby skin. I made this soap with calendula infused olive oil and colloidal oatmeal. Both are great for sensitive skin.
When I made this batch, it heated up during the processing and cracked part of the soap and created glycerin rivers. This only happened in a few of the bars, so unless this soap ends up being super popular, I think I have enough bars without it. However, it’s only a cosmetic issue, and the glycerin created is also good for your skin. If I end up running low, I will let you know and you can decide whether or not you want one of the cracked bars. 🙂

Unscented Oatmeal Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Calendula Infused Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Colloidal Oatmeal, Castor Oil
Honey Silk Soap
These soaps are smaller bars that were made with a soap mold that looks like beeswax with a little bee on it. They silk make them really smooth and creamy. The essential oil blend and the honey give it a sweet honey like scent which is very pleasant. These bars are really cute and they have a really nice hand feel.

Honey Silk Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Mango Seed Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Orange 10x, Lavender], Honey, Tussah Silk Fiber
Charcoal Eucalyptus Bar
If you are looking for a manly soap, this one is it. It’s a solid black bar that is only scented with eucalyptus essential oil.

Charcoal Eucalyptus Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil of Eucalyptus, Activated Charcoal
Rose Clay and Charcoal Bar
The stripes on this one came out kind of funky, but maybe that just adds to the charm! 😉
It’s got rose clay and charcoal, both great for purifying the skin. Lavender essential oil, which I love, provides the scent for this soap. But I know lavender is a love it or hate it scent, so if you are one that doesn’t like lavender, this isn’t the soap for you.

Rose Clay and Charcoal Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil of Lavender, Activated Charcoal, Rose Clay
Cedar Orange Patchouli
This one has a very strong patchouli scent, so if you don’t like patchouli, this isn’t the bar for you. I added ground vanilla bean powder, which gives it exfoliating properties.

Cedar Orange Patchouli Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Hemp Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Cedarwood, Orange 10x, Patchouli], Vanilla Bean Powder
Citrus Silk Bar w/ Calendula
I did a citrus swirl bar as one of my first batches of soap. Everyone really loved the smell, but I wasn’t as enthused about the feel of the soap. So I reformulated it, but kept the same essential oil blend, which just has a really nice citrusy smell. I also added in some silk fibers for smoothness.

Citrus Silk Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Calendula Infused Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Mango Seed Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oil Blend [Orange 10x, Litsea Cubeba, Bergamot], Tussah Silk Fibers
Patchouli Pencil Stripe
I made this soap a few months back, but I had a few bars left, so I figured I would tag it on here. I love the way this soap looks and its scent. It’s has a sweet spicy almost musky scent that’s not too overwhelming. I used cacao powder to make the pencil stripe and vanilla bean powder to color half the soap. The vanilla bean also provides great exfoliation.

Patchouli Pencil Stripe Soap
Contains: Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, NaOH, Shea Butter, Hemp Oil, Castor oil, Essential Oil Blend [Bergamot, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, cinnamon], Vanilla Bean Powder, Raw Cacao
So that is what I have for sale. I am really curious to see what people like. If you have any suggestions or opinions, I would love to hear about them in the comments below.
I hope everyone’s holiday season is happy and safe.
