I know it’s been awhile and I totally missed my personal goal of posting at least once a week, but life sometimes gets in the way. I’ve been pretty busy for the past couple months, but I feel pretty optimistic about the way things are heading. For now anyway.
Since my last post, I had my final two pickups of the CSH, which included lots of roots and barks. I didn’t record things as I got them, so I (unfortunately) and not going to post more details about them, but suffice to say, the CSH was so awesome, and I am so glad I got to participate!
A couple weeks ago, I attended the Portland Plant Medicine Gathering. This was my second year in attendance, and it is quite an event! My first year it happened on the weekend after the fateful 2016 election, and it was a very strange energy. I had gone into it thinking I was going to attend all the pragmatic workshops, like “25 Herbs to keep in you medicine cabinet”, and ended up going to courses named things like, “Healing the Heart.”
This year, I had a nice combination of pragmatic and spiritual. I loved attending, but it is a bit overwhelming. My introverted spirit needed a week of recovery afterwords. 🙂
Soap Sale!
Lastly, on the request of several of my friends, I am going to run a family and friends soap sale for the holidays. I made several batches at the end of September and beginning of October. The soaps finished curing and are ready for sale. I will be posting pics and descriptions soon, so keep an eye out!
